Hitchcock hero Robert Cummings stars in this exotic British feature from 1967, adapting one of Edgar Wallace's celebrated Commissioner Sanders stories. Directed by ITC stalwart Jeremy Summers and produced by B-movie legend Harry Alan Towers, Five Golden Dragons combines glamorous locations, gorgeous girls, mystery, action and plenty of humour, with Christopher Lee, George Raft and Brian Donlevy among the villainous 'dragons' encountered.

Before they were Fleetwood Mac, they were John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. Never before heard live performances from 1967. In 1967, before there was a Fleetwood Mac, Peter Green, John McVie and Mick Fleetwood were John Mayall's Bluesbreakers. The four musicians were only together for three months, which makes it even more remarkable that a staunch fan from Holland was able to sneak a one channel reel to reel tape recorder into five London clubs and capture this exciting glimpse into music history...

"Fantastic late Coltrane work - recorded in 1966 & 1967, but not issued until this release from 1978! The record features 4 tracks from the golden years. Two cuts - "Leo" & "Jupiter (Variations)" feature Coltrane playing spare, beautiful duets with Rashied Ali on drums. The track "Number One" features Trane in a quartet with Alice Coltrane on piano, Jimmy Garrison on bass, & Ali on drums. & "Peace On Earth" features Alice, Charlie Haden, Ali, & Pharoah S&ers. It was previously issued with overdubbed strings on the World Galaxy album - but it's issued here in the better stripped-down version. Very nice - & essential Coltrane material!"
